Omicron, a new variant of the COVID-19 virus, is spreading quickly across the globe. Unfortunately, this news is only made worse by cybercriminals who are creating Omicron-themed phishing scams.

An elaborate new Bitcoin scam targets Instagram influencers and their followers. In this scam, cybercriminals send an influencer a phishing link that takes them to a fake Instagram login page.

Holiday shopping has really ramped up, and the confirmation emails are flooding in. You may have received purchase confirmation emails from Amazon, one of the world’s most popular retailers. Unfortunately, cybercriminals have also been sending their own version of these emails.

It is Thanksgiving week in the United States, which in turn, means Black Friday and Cyber Monday are finally here. Cybercriminals have wasted no time in creating record numbers of fake, malicious online stores to try and trick unsuspecting shoppers.
