Walkerville Happenings

It’s hard to believe that half of 2019 has flown by already. Walkerville’s Lake-Osceola State Bank has been busy with over 140 hours of community service between the three full time employees. Doing everything from volunteering in the library, chaperoning field trips to coaching Rec Basketball. We have also sponsored a variety of community events including new shirts for our recreational league teams, sending our Annie Cast to see the Annie play, the Oceana College and Career Fair, and participating in the local horse pull during Bitely Homecoming.

We’ll also be supporting the Walkerville Parent Teacher Organization with their elephant ear fundraiser during the Farm Fun Days here in Walkerville on August 3rd. Farm Fun Days kicks off with the Community Market and the Tractor Show at 10:00 am and the Parade at 11:00. There’ll be local crafters, business, and, of course, farm produce. Carnival style games will be in the park, with lots of chances for kids to win great prizes. Please stop by and see us at any of the local events - we love seeing our customers as well as supporting our community!
