Information about COVID-19

Lake-Osceola State Bank Logo

Lake-Osceola State Bank is committed to safeguarding the health of our customers and staff. As we monitor the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want to keep you apprised of our actions and policies to keep you protected.

What We Are Doing
Our bank is following the guidance from the State Health Departments and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations to prevent exposure to the virus by both our customers and staff.

We have increased our efforts to clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces including doorknobs, phones, handrails, and counters throughout all our facilities. Also, we will be limiting physical contact with each other and our customers.  We also have contingency plans in place that are designed to limit any service disruptions due to coronavirus impacts, as we do for any number of scenarios. These include remote access capabilities, alternate work locations for employees and continuity plans for critical operations.

What You Can Do

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
  • CDC does not recommend that people wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
  • Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others. People who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility) should also wear a facemask.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

If you are feeling ill, for the safety of our staff and other customers, we kindly ask that you please do not visit a Lake-Osceola State Bank office.  We also strongly recommend that you leverage all of the Lake-Osceola State Bank remote access tools and services that provide 24/7 access to your accounts.  If you are not enrolled in these services and need assistance with the process, please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives.

Unfortunately, some people and companies are taking advantage of the fears surrounding the spread of the virus. Do not let fear cloud your judgment when accessing links from emails and social media.
